Kunsi Keya Tamakoce has never been built by one person.
For nearly forty years, this community has been carried by people showing up. People bringing food. People chopping wood. People sharing teachings. People offering prayers. People opening their hearts, homes, resources, and time so that others might find belonging.
This land holds the footprints of generations who have gathered here to learn, heal, pray, laugh, grieve, celebrate, and remember who they are.
Today, we find ourselves in an important moment.
As we continue the legacy entrusted to us by Beverly Little Thunder, we are also preparing the ground for those who will come after us. We are caring for the land, supporting elders, creating opportunities for youth, maintaining ceremonial spaces, and ensuring that the teachings remain accessible to future generations.
Your donation can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. With your help, we can continue to provide vital services and support to those in need. Every little bit helps, so please consider making a donation today.
Most importantly, it helps us continue creating a place where people can experience what so many of us are longing for—a sense of belonging, responsibility, and connection to something larger than ourselves.
We know there are many worthy places to give your support.
If Kunsi Keya Tamakoce has touched your life, fed your spirit, welcomed you, taught you, challenged you, or helped you find community, we invite you to help carry this work forward.
Not for us.
For the generations still to come.
Pilamayaye.
"We are not asking you to support a program. We are asking you to help care for a community, a land, and a legacy that have cared for so many of us. "

• The annual Two-Spirit Sundance and ceremonial gatherings
• Monthly teachings, ceremonies, and community circles
• Youth leadership and Coming of Age programs
• Elder participation, support, and honoraria
• Food sovereignty, gardening, and land stewardship initiatives
• Community meals and hospitality
• Cultural education and intergenerational learning
• Care for Grandmother Turtle Land
• Scholarships and financial assistance for participants
• The preservation of Lakota teachings, stories, and ceremonial traditions
Together, we are creating a place where future generations can experience what so many of us have been fortunate to receive: a community that believes in them, a land that welcomes them, and teachings that remind them they belong.
